| This commission is to coordinate NGO
efforts in democracy and human rights issues. The role of
LCN through democracy and human rights commission is to
provide information and a platform of discussion for NGOs
about democracy and human rights issues. It is through the
effort of this commission that the NGOs have played an
important role in the democratization process in Lesotho.
The Commission aims to promote awareness and observance of
human rights and good governance as well as to promote
accountability.

- Workers’ Rights
- Civil legal reform and representation
- Community development
- Conflict management
